If you find that your camera is just a USB camera and not USB Vision compliant, you still may be able to use the camera's driver (if it is available) and call it using the Call Library Function Node. You may then be able to bring in the images and camera information into LabVIEW and then use the Vision Analysis libraries available in Vision Development Module. The video from the phone then appears as if it is a USB camera, attached directly, but is in fact streaming from the phone to the driver. If you can get setup this far, there is no MJPEG stream to worry about on the PC end, or LabVIEW/IMAQdx, since you are essentially talking to a (virtual) USB camera at that point. Canon EOS Control is a software add-on for LabVIEW that provides a library for controlling Canon EOS cameras through a USB connection. The add-on includes an interface to capture and transfer images, display and control the camera view finder, and control camera parameters.
